In Chapter 4, section 4.1.1 the high risk patient groups have been updated to include cystic fibrosis patients and the addition of “solid organ” to transplant patients.

The alert organism grouping of non-tuberculous Mycobacteria has been amended to include those that are most likely to be encountered, in recognition that more than 100 species of NTM exist. Chapter 4, section 4.1.9 and Appendix 13 have been amended to reflect this.
